Manufacturing Practices


We are proud to say that our manufacturing department is USDA regulated and that we operate under a HACCP planMartinez Distributors follows all required sanitation regulations to the letter in addition to our own equally strict sanitation practices. Our company only buys products from USDA approved plants that operate under the same HACCP plan, and we only use nationally recognized brands that meet our quality requirements, and those that have the strongest consistency to ensure that our products remain top quality invariably.

 

Our staff members possess vast experience in the industry and they have been working in our company for decades. Nonetheless they are constantly trained and monitored to seamlessly handle our sophisticated and state of the art equipment. Throughout the years we have developed critical control points that help us minimize the occurrence of any cross contamination or bacterial growth, and we have an E.coli test program in place. We monitor all products from receiving to shipping, and we maintain product and room temperature logs at all times to ensure optimal conditions always.

 

We also maintain SSOP logs that monitor all equipment and machine sanitation and we only use USDA approved chemicals and detergents throughout our manufacturing plants and floors.

 

Our priority is to always maintain a clean, safe and controlled environment for production, for our employees and for our operations in general so our customers can enjoy the best products at the most competitive prices.


Facilities & Capabilities


Martinez Distributors has recently acquired a new space right across the street from it previous location. This new facility has been a tremendous benefit to our customers because it offers a huge cash and carry area, convenient parking, a large pick up department for faster attention, and about seven times more for storage capacity, which has greatly reduced our storage fees and we have adjusted and passed those savings onto our customers.

 

As a result, we have been able to expand and doubled our production capabilities just by moving the cash and carry and the warehouse. We are continuously searching for new ways to improve our stores and we are planning another big expansion, which will multiply our production capacities exponentially. Martinez Distributors is happy to announce that we have the capabilities of manufacturing private label options for a wide variety of products including meats, grains and others.

 

Our manufacturing capacity and expertise in the food industry enable us to provide fast turnaround for private label orders, which will be conducted in our state of the art facility, with the latest equipment and under constant monitoring and supervision to ensure quality for our customers.

 

Equipped with the latest technology and our own fleet of refrigerated trucks, we are capable of fulfilling small to large-scale orders for customers locally and nationwide, and we deliver our goods on time and under optimal conditions.
